Silves

In the time of the Moors Silves was the capital of the Algarve. It's only 5 minutes from our Quinta.

The old castle on top of the hill where Silves is situated still remembers you of the presence of the Moors. The old centre with its restaurants, cafes and the river Arade makes that you will easily fall in love with this village. You will find here also supermarkts, the post office and banks.
